The MN Spinal Cord Injury Resources Network (working in partnership with the MN Dept. of Health, Injury and Violence Prevention Unit) provides statewide resources and information realted to Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI). The organization is familiar with many of the statewide medical facilities and types of rehabilitation services available. Information is also provided on difficult topics like fertility issues, relationships, research and community re-entry issues and resources.

Referrals to regional Independent Living Centers are also made to help the individual connect with non-medical resources in nearby communities.

Sharing how other SCI individuals returned home and became able to control their environments or learned to return to things they loved doing, whether going to work or school, hunting or fishing, can sometimes make it easier for the new SCI person. If requested, connections will be arranged with experienced SCI individuals having similar levels of injury or function.
