A deferred loan, up to $27,000, with no interest or payments, that is forgiven after 15 years, available to low-income homeowners who are at or below 30% of the area median income. The funds can be used to make basic improvements to the safety, livability, energy efficiency, and accessibility of the home.

Eligibility criteria:
Borrower must own/occupy the home being improved. Household income cannot exceed 30% of area median income. Assets cannot exceed $25,000. All mortgage payments and property taxes must be current. Property must be adequately insured.

Additional notes:
Loan is deferred and forgivable, so borrower does not pay as long as they reside in the home
